About Franklin

I invented the word imageologist as I strive not only to create great images but to create a unique photographic experience that surrounds my clients with an artistic, caring and creative environment. I love working with people of all ages and treat each person as an individual with unique needs. My work is a blend of commercial, portrait, wedding and event photography consisting primarily of people and the parts of their lives or work that are most important to them. I feel confident in my ability to work with natural and supplemental light in a variety of situations to bring out the best in my subject with a careful creative style.

I am very fortunate to have ten years experience owning and operating Franklin Tunis Photography. Some of my success comes from having both formal and on site education from some of the finest photographic educators in the world. Most of my success is due to my photographic experiences and my sincere desire to understand the client's needs by being a good listener. I attended Triangle Institute of photography in Pittsburgh, PA. and have had instruction from world famous photographers like Andy Torre, Monte Zucker, Clay Blackmore, Al Gilbert and the Simones. Some of my favorite photographers are Ansel Adams, Yousef Karsh, Man Ray, Monte Zucker, and Henri Cartier- Bresson.
